Chocolate Avocado Pudding

  • 4 ripe avocados (peeled and deseeded)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (Or any milk alternative)
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup (or any liquid alternative sweetener like honey, agave, or date syrup )


  1. Place all the ingredients in the food processor.
  2. Pulse 10-15 times until combined.
  3. Remove lid and scrape the sides down with a rubber spatula.
  4. Place lid back on and blend another 15-30 seconds until smooth and creamy in texture.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour, then enjoy!

(Tip: We sometimes use 3-4 medjool dates and blend them in a blender with half the amount of maple syrup for our sweetener. It helps to cut down on the sugar)
